My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Wow! I love these types of beaches. Great fun exploring, even in the rain.

Looks like a fun place to hike and explore! I could easily spend days at a bay like this

Great shot. Always know we're around Puget Sound when I see big logs on the beach. I just used Google Earth to see exactly where Lopez Island is...now I know. Beautiful place from all of your postings...keep them coming:)

You have the BIGGEST driftwood in Washington--all I ever see are tiny little chunks for the most part. Beautiful place!!

Yep, that looks like a Puget Sound beach! I like that you didn't shoot the water, but the tideline instead...great shot!

Detritus, rocks, flotsam and jetsam, along with a magnificent background of forest, most evident in this fine composition.

The forest behind, the brunches and the stones made a perfect composition of a beach in winter.Looks a beautiful and quite place!

WOW. There is such a hyper-real sense of color here, and a great amount of detail here. nature has always been rich and heady for me, and this is definitely a rich image that invites exploration. I love it when stuff does that! This is beautifully composed and presented.

A very nice capture indeed some of that driftwood looks as though it could be useful, and lots of colour and nice trees as well.
