My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

I just love the fact that you tried enhancing your lighting. Creating the streaks was very creative! Did you do this before or after the Martini...

Beautiful refraction effect. You achieved two in one: two artistic photos:the flowers looking just quite a classical painting and the wonderful textures and shadows you have captured in the wall.Excellent.My instant fav.

Stellar display of color blends and lighting effects in this one...and what prestidigitation did Piet reveal to you vis-a-vis postwork?

I'm commenting for two right now, because I know that if Victor saw this, he'd have a lot of something to say, either in Russian or intriguingly rendered English. Like me, he'd be zapped by the color, the subtle postwork and the perfection of the composition itself. As for me, this whole image has a perfectly elegant vibe--and to think that a chocolate martini is partly responsible for that. They make a positively divine chocolate martini at a bar here in Chicago called "Cocktail" and your picture makes me want one...but only if the bartender named Val makes it. So many of your works have a certain sensuality to them, and this is no exception. I love the softness of it, the whole implications of life taking place. The green of the leaves is a perfect compliment to the warmer, almost flesh-like colors.
