Before I leave, I wanted to post this for a dear friend who's sick tonight, but filled with all kinds of joy. She wanted something that was "overloaded with primal spring light"--so I made her this. If it's a bit packed (lol), it was done for friend who's packed to the gills with joy & lots of love.
And I wish a wonderful holiday to you all! Much light & inspiration this season, Mark Note: This used mss's wonderful Metamorphosis image for the 2D Forum Metamorphosis Theme (here). (All Photoshop.)

Mark this is wonderful and I know your friend is going to love it. What a tranquil and happy creation, it literally does spring forth with life. I don't know your friend but I'm certain that this image done with love will be just the thing to make their day. I'll keep them in my thoughts and prayers

This painting is a world of colour and light,a mixed of nature and cosmus. Nature shapes and colours of spring... merging and emerging from water flowing, where the colours of sky reflect. The softness of the trees traversing the picture, the luminosity of the moon,i guess. It is very intense, joyous and with penetrating poetry. It dance and sing all around. It is the most beautiful and soulful dedication to your friend to keep well soon!!

First spring light...new birth...transforming growth...from a dead state to a live state. As I read your title and your friend's request, this was your visual and artistic goal. As I see it,...you've both succeeded and exceeded expectations:) Well done Mark! And a joyous Easter to all.

Wow yes it has lots of packed full light. But,I see two angels in it. do you see them? on the lower left there is like a circle like an aura around what looks like I man sitting in a long robe and the robe flows out to the left and below his feet. And if you look into the fuzziness around him just above him. then you see an angels face with a side view of his shoulder then look deeper and you see on the immediate right of him is like some kinda animal, like and elk with no horns.

A wonderful, but also thought provoking composition, Mark. You captured the spirit, and light of spring, in a fantastic way. The healing powers within those, are well known and efficient. This will without doubt, provide the subject of this fine dedication... with the necessary fuel. High class emotional craftsmanship, all the way through. Happy Easter.+5

Gorgeous colors, and I love the sort of stained-glass thing you've got going there. Using the branches for this gives it a crackely feeling (if that makes any sense) and it's just beautiful!
