Captured 2/10/09, around early afternoon, about .75 miles/1.207 kilometers from my halycon haven.
See yesterday's posting for more information and a photo of the entire fence.
Thankx for clicking on, and have a tachistoscopic Tuesday.

Hmmmm, yesterday I saw faces. Today I can smell knotty pine. These photos have quite an effect.

Great follow up collage to yesterday montage. Love the first picture. And a nailed picture give an extra pattern to make a shot more interesting.

Beautiful collage..and suddenly, the ordinary takes on the extraordinary. Wonderful compilation, and one to explore for awhile. :)

Very nice Harry... you can really concentrate on the abstract shapes and colors in these shots. Some things take on a whole new look when seen up close!

More great detail here--whoever built the fence didn't use the right nails, but it made for even more interest in your foto!!

"tachistoscopic"??? That's worth a fav right there! I heard that word once in my life, and it was from my eye doctor! This is another fascinating exploration of the fabric & lines & strange alien worlds contained in the simple piece of cut-lumber. I love the top one, that's really a small colony. And the others are variants of natural knots and nails, and those terrific 'weeping' lines under the nails, and the straight-on gentle grain & bland colors of the wood, along with the cracks and other imperfections that accompany slats like this. I'm loving this series. Fine work.
