Wow! I like this a lot. Black and white is completely effective here. The glass shimmers perfectly and has a nice interaction with the wall texture and the wood of the frame. I like the different species of glass, too...the actual, elegant drinking glasses, the flatter glass of the panes, and even the "fake glass" of the light shining through the glasses, and casting those wonderful half-shadow/half-distortions that only glass can produce. Great work, as always, and in a sense, this has the makings of a story; it has a wonderful "designed set" sort of a feel to it, as well as the stronger implication of use by humans. I like that!

Very nice. I, for one, think we should do more with B&W. Sometimes a well focused, but average picture becomes something special in B&W. I think color actually distracts at times. At any rate...this is the first of this series of yours I've seen in B&W...pluses all around.

This would make a fantastic drawing! It presents so many challenges to the eye, what we think we see, and what is actually there, visually. Marvellous.

Fantastic image Tara, I love how the light refracts through the glasses giving differing images of the picture frames through the glass. How it bends and magnifies the image behind them. Just like putting a stick into water how that seems to bend. A very interesting subject creating an even more interesting picture. Superb work, the B&W was a very good choice for this. Bravo!!!!!5+++++ Fav

Great work! I like the B & W treatment because it lets the light and the glass tell the story.
