My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Wonderful photo! I was stationed in the sound back in the late 70' early 80's. It is a great area!

How very beautiful this place is. The layers of landscape separated by the water is wonderful. Those snowcapped peaks are a treasure. Great shot.

What a great place to call home. I'm surprised you didn't get the nice weather last weekend. We were around 80 both Saturday and Sunday.

Picture perfect. Now that I've just had some more success with a five frame panorama, my immediate thought is, "I wonder how much of a panoramic view of the sound and mountains you could get from that same vantage point?" Bet you were in the car though...
CavalierLady
Lovely image, Tara, and I agree with the others, what beautiful mountains to see every day!

Oh Tara how lovely! Gosh - here everything is dusty and starting to grey. (We don't have spectacular falls like you guys) This is a gorgeous vista! :)

Ooh, you got a great view; I always see the best ones when I'm driving (and there's no place to pull over--the view from the 520 bridge always makes me drool!) Fantastic capture!
