My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Nature has taken over here, good colour and textures. Cannot tell what postwork you have made, what the eyes don't see eh! interesting capture Tara!

Now this is a puzzler. Looks like two floor tiles tilted up. But must be mossy roof sections? Anyway, I'm buying it 'cause you're selling it. LOL. Well done.

Nice shot, use that post work if ti helps the picture, you've got a letter V for the letter in nature competiton.

Clever compo! Looks like the green mounts allready released a smoke and ...are we ready for the main show? volcanic eruption. Please don't stone me for my strange vision...cool capture.

I can't see the postwork! It certainly has 'had it' as we say. Another great habitat is created.

A shame to see all that wood go to waste, but then again think of all the creatures that are making use of it now. Makes for an interesting image Tara. Like babuci, I see on the right at least a smoking volcano, on the left a pyramid. Then again it could be one of Madona's discarded bra's.#;0). There is so much to see, its unbelievable. Excellen work. Bravo!!!!!

from the thumb I thought maybe it was a skateboard ramp...LOL! Well, it's still gorgeous, if not for the purpose it was designed for. Great capture!

An unusual "Valley of Giza"... grass Pyramids! ;) Exceptional image! :)

This is a great picture but sometimes I look at pictures like this and feel a bit sad. I think of how pleased someone was when this was newly built and how proud they were of their handiwork, and what promise the future held. Now it is all gone. I sure like the angles and colors in this - makes for a fantastic photo.
MrsLubner
Well it looks like home to me...well ... more like the inside. That's what happens when you have a teenager under your roof! Great shot and postwork.

Nature does have a way a taking things back--almost looks like an old pyramid. And, no, ---postwork?? Never wouldn't thought that!!

GREAT SHOT!
vagalex
Beautiful shot!

Beautiful! In a way, this reminds me of why I want to go to Iceland, eventually...there are houses there that are built like this on purpose...well...the only way you can see them is to look for their pointed roofs rising out of the ground. Aside from that, this is a gorgeous shot. The postwork is impossible to see, and that marks it as good! In short, this whole photograph is beautifully done, and it's quite moody.

This really has seen better days but your postwork has turned it into a work of art.

Poor thing....nice shot though
