Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

Bless! (Sorry, Bill!) Our UK ones are Red (if you are lucky(!) and grey (easy). Nothing like this one. So I can't complain coz I've not seen one before! Ha! Great shot. Well done. But can see why you want the feeders! Rob.

Well this seems a cross between the red and grey! Ours also seem to be impervious to any methods used to prevent them stealing food! Bravo Bill great shot

What a beautiful colour he is, we only see grey ones.

hmmmm... looks to be a fox squirrel. They vary in color but the size and bushiness of the tail seems to say fox squirrel. And he's fat, and happy and probably never says thank you after each meal you feed him. :-) Wonderful clarity and sweet, sweet shot.

He is so cute. I gotta admit I love squirrels. I live in the UK and I have four squirrels that visit my garden every day and they too used to raid and even destroyed all my plastic bird feeders. Then I swapped the plastic ones for metal ones and bought them their own squirrel feeder with a lid they push up with their noses and I keep it filled with peanuts and they have never even given the bird feeders a second look since. I guess if you can't beat them, join them. But he is sweet. Our grey squirrels have a white tummy.

The bushy tailed burglar caught in the act. I doubt if it will suffer any pangs of remorse afterwards. Stellar composition, Bill.

What a beautiful little burgler you had and I'm sure he enjoyed the meal. We don't have squirrels here worse luck as they look so cute. A lovely capture.
