Description
This shot was taken at Busch Gardens. Here I had found a plethora of water fowl co-existing together in one exhibit. I could have hung out there all day just taking in the beauty. If you noticed the flamingo laying in the background, I can assure you it is not dead. He was reaching down to get a drink without having to move. He discovered he was too far from the pond to do so, and eventually gave up and moved closer. I hope you enjoy this picture as much as I do. Thank you for stopping by to look.

This is a wonderful shot. We had a Busch Garden in Calif but they closed it. I was there one time and it was a beautiful place.

I took several, ok 379 , at Busch Gardens, besides this one so far to date I have posted the following from that shoot : I want one, A Crabby Zebra, Dave posted Hmmmpppf , Are you looking at meeee?, The other Woman , Is this still cheating??, and Do you want to see my lizard. It was a great time, and there is still more to come.

I'd never in my life seen so much pink prancing about!! Until this day the only flamingo's I'd seen were of the plastic variety a resident of town here seems to be so fond of, well,...that and Miami Vice, which traceyjane remarked of. I just didn't want Tracey to feel they were the only old poop here. I'm kind of glad that these guys are more or less confined to the deep south. We have a lot of seagulls up here, and they make on heck of a mess on several of the vehicles and buildings as they're flying about. Considering the size of a flamingo to a seagull, I can guess that the mess would likely be in proportion. These are certainly rather captivating to watch and see close up
