We, as artists, whatever our medium, are a passionate group. It is our passion for our art, our passion for life and love that comes through. This is what we want to share with you. If we can make you smile, cry, laugh or feel desire, then we have succeeded. Â For you, the reader, the viewer to have one brief moment where you think of nothing else. Hi I'm Michelle. I use many mediums of art in which I express myself. The digital world is a door that I just recently dared to open. I've come here to learn another way of visualizing what's in my minds eye. " a mind all logic is like a knife all blade" BIO My intent is to learn and grow.I know that I am no where near the calibre of artist that span these pages, but I do aspire. So please, I ask that if you view my work to please leave a comment. Good, bad or indifferent. I'm not thinned skinned, how can we aspire to greatness if our skin is made of lace? Do not be afraid to say why you think and/or feel the way you do. How else will I know if I came across to you? You never know when your comment will inspire another. I hope that you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy yours.

The reason for choosing this particular genre, making the genre the abstract. Monochrome-There is a heavy fog today. As I look out my window I can only see what is immediately before me. I cannot even begin to see the horizon...what is before me is overcast. Black&White:it made me think of those moments in life where no matter how hard we try to bend and twist it, there are no shades of gray. We've all had moments like this at least once in our lives. I think it is how well we learn the lesson that is dependent on how well, how gracefully we recover. Hope all have a wonderful remainder of the week.

Oh, WELL done! This is a wonderful bit of writing. You've told an entire story in a very few words, and those words have a physical presence ... I can feel the breath being knocked out of me. "Making the distance from grace a very short fall" ... I wish I'd written that! Elegant and evocative.

Very well done. 5+.

Striking words Michelle! As long as one is not to hard on one's self; As long as one can except that there is a lesson to be learned; As long as one has friends to listen, and a hug to give; The rise back up can go smoothly! Hugs!

I know life can seem bleak and dark at times Michelle. At this time my future looks very bright and I'm looking to share it with someone special. All it takes is one word.. "YES", and your life will change. My armor may need a bit of polishing but your Knight is ready when you are. Bravo on the poem and concept. Hugs and stuff from Dave :^)

good words just get up and keep on trucking

Sometimes the ground rises so you can see it more clearly. Grace may then be seen for what it is. You cannot fall without having first stood.

Stark and bleak - very well written. That is why the Lord needs us to keep humble. We cannot fall far if we are kneeling on the ground... A bit of a sidetrack - I love the shape your words formed. Tilt your head to the right and look at the sentences again - they form a shoe - the fall from the heights of a pedestal can be measured by how far you have to climb again, step by step. Make sure you are wearing comfortable shoes... :o)
