Description

WW II British Spitfire flying through the upper reaches of the Transportation Gallery in the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. Lucky for me there was a balcony that allowed me to get close to this historic relic known for its' fine performance in the hands of the RAF while whipping Hermann Goering's Luftwaffe in 1940. The main reason three of us Renderositians journeyed to Chicago was to see the German WW II U-boat, U-505. Will have something up from that amazing display soon. Chicago Museum of Science and Industry Thanks for stopping by, Bill:) P.S. Forgive the gleaming reflections in the canopy...bright lights at the wrong places...didn't like the looks when eliminated.
