Description

As I was opening this image just now, the words of the very old but famous Bette Midler song, The Rose, jumped to mind. It is so beautiful and I'd thought I'd share it with you. Thank you for popping in and for your wonderful comments on my previous upload. Thanks to those who wished the boys a safe trip! They have landed safely in London this morning! Hugs, Carin xx Sorry folks - I had the lyrics of The Rose all typed out hear but apparently may only use part of the lyrics of a song! Seeing that The Rose is a ballad and do not have verses but tell a story, I took it off completely!

Ah, but I have to say, The Rose is (would you believe it?) one of my favorite songs. And just the mention of it puts it snuggly back in the forefront of my memory where I'll be humming it for the next week whether I want to or not. LOL The photo is harmonious by itself. A symphony of nature's beauty that you captured so well.

Yeah, I don't get the whole thing about not being able to post lyrics in their entirety, but ... whatever. I can hear the song in my head just fine without them!
