There seemed to be some questions on whether this was truly a live duck. Here he is, I give you Mr Duckie before he decided to get comfy. I really don't know his name, but that's what I called him as I was getting the shots and talking to him. I hope you enjoy him. Sitting down or standing up, he is still quite a handsome fellow.

Not really sure what the reference is to, in kissing ducks. I can pretty much imagine some of the things some of you are going to say already, but you need to understand that I have scruples and would go this far, have to draw a line somewhere!!!, and besides, this is a male!! We did find a nesting pair in the back garden, the one with the fountain, I'm not sure how those pictures turned out. She was attractive, but obviously smitten with her mate. You know, the more I look at this little guy, with his chest all puffed out, the more I'm wondering what was on his mind as Cheri was cooing to him. She said it was all just to keep him calm, I'm thinking he might have had other plans. You all do realize that in the United Kingdom, the girls are referred to as birds!! Think about it. Sweet shot baby!! He certainly has amazing color.

I love the dialogue between you & elfin...it's a running comedy routine! And "awesome" is totally ok. (Like, totally!) (No, it is ok, I'm just being obnoxious...) A fine shot, the lines are clear & simple, the water against the stone is very clean visually, and the duck looks great standing in the middle of it all. A fine shot, you did this glorious bird proud.
