Description

Tara (auntietk)is sick! I want to cheer her up and get her out of bed, so I thought I will post this lovely tarantula to bring some energy and threaten to put him in her bed if she doesn't get better soon!!!! *straight face* I hope you feel way better pretty quickly!!! *innocent smile* I captured this puppy a couple of weeks ago in a petshop. I am petrified of them but do recognize their beauty! This one's body was approximately three inches long - still a baby! Thank you for popping in and for you very valued comments and favs on my previous upload! Stay well!! Hugs, Carin xx

Well, I'm no spider fan, but this one has a lovely fur coat. I don't think I'd want to find one in my bed, that's for certain! I hope they're both up and out again soon. Excellent shot, Carin!

Just an awesome capture...I'm up, I'm up honest!!!. This has been one heck of a head sinus cold now working its way into the chest. It must be man flu, the variety that strikes males alot harder than the opposite sex...lol. Two days without sleep and yet being so tired...oh well. However going to the doctor just to make sure it isn't turning into something more serious. Love the Photograph...love the photographer!!!

I have seen so many in Mexico.during the winter they would come out on the highway by the 100's and of course become road kill.I sure hoped that I would not break down in that area I hope both have a speedy recovery and an excellent macro

Okay, while I don't want one in my bed, I find tarantulas to be quite beautiful! In general I'm not a big spider lover, but that's because they usually don't have much in the way of visuals. This one is a sweetie ... and just look at all that detail! The light shows off every hair, every nuance. Gorgeous capture! You're a brave woman, dierbaar! Thank you! Stywe druk en baie liefde!

Wow, it kinda looks like a porcupine, but not with those eight hairy legs, Carin! Spectacular lighting and textural effects in this macro portrait of the shy and nonassuming arachnid, young lady.
