Description

Tara (auntietk)is sick! I want to cheer her up and get her out of bed, so I thought I will post this lovely tarantula to bring some energy and threaten to put him in her bed if she doesn't get better soon!!!! *straight face* I hope you feel way better pretty quickly!!! *innocent smile* I captured this puppy a couple of weeks ago in a petshop. I am petrified of them but do recognize their beauty! This one's body was approximately three inches long - still a baby! Thank you for popping in and for you very valued comments and favs on my previous upload! Stay well!! Hugs, Carin xx

If you've ever turned them over and pried up their fangs, you will see just why you are terrified of them. Even the docile ones have huge fangs. I love the look of them behind glass and in photos...like this really stellar shot.

Getting the willies here .. and to think Piet lets them crawl all over him, and calls them beautiful. Yikes. My daughter would have nightmares if I showed her this. But, from a photographers point of view, I gotta admit, this is one TOP SHOT! :) :) :)

I am terrified of spiders ... I believe that I would be a heart attack if I find in my bed one of these "monsters"! Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Bruce and Tara!

I really don't have a fear of spiders,......well... until now maybe. " and just a baby?? I'd be out of bed so fast you'd think I was teleported!

Well! It can stay a baby as well as far as I'm concerned! Uuuuugh! It's a really detailed shot of one though. Well done. Now. Next challenge! Get a shot of a WILD one! Good luck! I'll be thinking of you!!! Rob.

Reminds me of growing up in Southern Arizona where after a heavy rain we would see these critters hopping across the highway. Great shot!

Wow!!! The first time I ever saw a Tarantula was in Texas. They are humongous creature. This puppy is by no means small. I'm sure this will make Bruce and Tara's blood flow fast. Wishing them good health. Excellent capture of this beautiful puppy. Aloha
