My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

What an amazing story and lovely that you were able to meet her. I love this bright and happy macro of this superb Iris.

wonderful shot of the dog, and "Bear" is fitting. A great hefty dog. (As an old girlfriend used to say, "wow, that's a real dog!") And the iris is beautiful. I just commented on Andrea's recent iris, and what a difference there is between the two shots, both beautiful. Yours zeroed in on the center, and it reveals all the strangeness and organic 'otherness' of flowers. Those spindly things, I don't even know if they're stamens: But they emphasize how other-worldly flowers really are. The whole thing crosses over flower-hood to abstract; flower shots can do that. (I think of O'Keeffe's flower paintings, which explode on the canvas and turn flowers into massive journeys into the inner sanctums and wombs of the soul.) "Iris" comes from the same root as "iridescent," and these are iridescent. Beautiful flower shot again, this one a closeup; and it's a spilling big sun of a shot. Post as many as you wish, your flowers are always wonderful...
