Description

To recap the story so far ... While Stalking Pots at the Garden Center I risked life and limb in order to get a shot of the Queen of the Pots despite the danger! It was touch and go for a while. I was stealthy and sneaky (but experienced in the hunt) and was able to get the shot I wanted. Encouraged by my success I continued on, and discovered to my surprise that the reason I had been able to get so close to the Queen was that her guards were having a party in the next rack over! They were dressed in their party colors, and were having a grand old time. I don't know for sure how they were celebrating, but you can tell from looking at them that they'd had a bit too much ... they're looking a bit blurry! (It's postwork! I swear!) I hope this party makes you smile, especially those of you who have hung in with me through the entire saga! You've made my sick days at home much more bearable, and given me something to look forward to. You guys rock! (If none of this makes any sense to you, follow the links and read what's happened up 'til now. You won't be able to make heads or tails out of it unless you read what I wrote and then read the comments on the posts. Part I was "Stalking Pots" and Part II was "Queen of the Pots." Enjoy!) I promise ... for my next post, I'll move on to something completely different. How about Ralph, the Wonder Llama! I can always give it a try and hope I don't get sacked!

Welcome back ladies and gentlemen, tonight we have discovered why our intrepid hunter was able to get so very close to the queen pot! her guards were at some party and threefore not doing the job they were assigned to. How absolutely marvelous that she was not only able to get the Queen pot, but evidence that these pots have a party life. what is even more fortunate is that we now have some evidence to use the next time we go out on safari, I hesitate to use the word blackmail as it does have a nasty reputation and conotation, but in this case whatever works to get more pictures. Outstanding work! Glad you're feeling better! Looking forward to Raloh the wonder llama

The sneaky critters... I am sure the Queen Pot will fire the whole bunch of them when she sees her image blasted all over the media!!!! They are in for some hard times... Glad I'm not in their shoes!!! BTW - you did stellar work by gathering the evidence that they were probably as drunk as skunks while on duty!!!! Oh - I love this!!! Excellent work dear friend!!! Glad you are felling a tad better! Ek het jou lief. Word gou gesond.

This is such fun, and all the more enjoyable as the thrills are vicarious. Watching the hunt from the safety of my own home I can enjoy the chase, and these rare images knowing that I shan't be hurt when they start hurling themselves from the racks in a drunken frenzy.

So hard to get good help now days, yep Queen Pot will sentence them all to the scrap heap after she has a smashing good time with them..Unless at their party they get Smashed.. Looking at their colours they may be getting smashed alright... Excellent sneeking and capture. well done.

Quite a Gala affair this Pot Party! Lots of color and the mood is all Pot! Nice shot and though the idea of pot parties have been around quite awhile none have quite the color of this party I am sure! Nice job Tara.

Ah, such a colorful event. They are celebrating their success. They have managed to get enough breeding pairs in homes and yards of the humans and are now reaping the benefits of the old hippies whose homes they infiltrated. Now, as they party their way into oblivion, thinking that the humans are naive about what these pots have done. The resistance is mustering mass forces together. So far the generals best plan hinges on the success of an mere slogan "Just Say No'.

One can definitely see that they've been been at this for some time, their rims all glazed over, half of them can't even stack straight anymore! Although they are probably gathered elsewhere, I'm sure the teapots will be the first to start spouting off about this sordid event taking place, and wondering just exactly what ewer doing. I'm sure there are some out there who've heard of pot parties before, never realizing where the term actually was derived from, and know you know. The pots started it all, in fact they were the first to really get stoned! I wouldn't be to concerned about the Queens retaliation to the guards slacking off, I'm sure she will give each of them a chance to urn her trust back. Ralph the wonder Llama,.....hmmmm. I'm looking forward to it, but the way you said about getting sacked? I was always under the impression that might be a good thin.........ohhhh, never mind.
