Dear friends, please excuse me for not commenting or posting any in the past week or more. I'm going through very unusual busy and difficult days.
Its season of 'Chakara' at some parts of Alleppey. I have explained what is Chakara in the previous post.
Its sowing season in the paddy feilds, its festival at sea, its monsoon season (heavy rainfall- this year so far its low), on Monday their is one Snake Boat race. I don't know where to go. I am on the most uncomfortable situation. I hope I can go for the Snake boat race, which has a tradition of hundreds of years.
next I shall bring about women fishers. Those who asked for the video clipings of making of the snake boat, please give me some time, I haven't uploaded it.
