Another iris from Walsterway's.
I love iris - they look different from every angle, and they're just so beautiful!
Somebody asked me how close I could get, and I think this is just about the limit. I don't think I've got anything closer than this.

I saw the title and since today is a holiday I thought I was going to see a picture of a lovely lemon meringue pie. This is much more beautiful than a shot of a piece of pie though. Doesn't taste as good, but is prettier. Great shot!

This is amazing! How close IS this? It looks like the inside of a wedding cake, as well as the inside of a flower. I love the way everything looks so delicate and fragile, like it would all just blow over if you so much as breathe. This is gorgeous work.

When I read the title on my ebot, I thought - No she didn't!!! How can she be so cruel to show me a pic of Lemon meringue (my all time fav dessert) when I just returned from gym... :( Well, this glorious image is as close as you can get without adding calories... LOL.. Remarkable dear Tara - the detail and coloring are amazing! Well done gal!! And the threeway chat this morning with Marilyn was the most fun I had with my clothes on... LOL...
