Description

Do you have the courage to walk across that well-lit bridge into the dark forest beyond? Mwaaaahaahaahaahaahaa!!!! (Music swells, a scream is heard, stage left.) :D A couple weeks ago Denise (MrsRatbag) and I went to the Arboretum, and of course we took pictures of many of the same things. The challenge in that is to make your images look different from the other person's, to have a slightly different vision, a different take on something you both saw. In some cases, the differences had to be in postwork, because the shots themselves were so similar. This is my version of the foot bridge into the Arboretum. We were actually there in broad daylight.

Spooky... nice to know it was really in broad daylight, cause you might not have crossed over... crazy things happen at night...

It needs courage to go forward especially if it is raining and you can't see clearly. Scary but beautiful. Nice work.

Forgetting the question, I am wowed by your postwork turning day into night! I might be able to duplicate this feat, but I am not sure how as I sit here and view your end result. Did you use some sort of special lighting filter? Whatever you did, it came out great! I recall Denise's photo so I have the comparison in mind.

...then a shot rang out (apparently they always ring), followed by the sound of something large dropping into the water, and the plants started to talk out loud again... Well done, turning day to night! I would not have known. Now I am wondering how many of your other shots were actually taken after midnight.
