My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Nice shot! love the colour of the pots
MrsRatbag
You picked a great POV for this shot; the shapes and colors are wonderful, and then there's the light reflecting on the shiny surfaces. Beautiful!

Cool and nice reflection!!

Who wouldn't like pots like these? Particularly like the deep, rich glaze of the green pot. Did you bring the drum heads with you? :-)
MrsLubner
Very well done composition. The balance of space and color is a joy.

Well, you know I always think outside the lines; the title made me think of a conga line and I was ready to dance away!! But, I hear the drums calling, so off I go!! Great shot, full of detail and color and wonder--wow!!

LOL @ Marilyn! Fantastic image of these beautiful pots Tara. (Not the stalking species I assume...) Speaking of drums - when you come to visit Africa, we have got to do drumming... It is so amazing and stress relieving!!!

You, my dear, are the master (or would that be mistress?) of the cropped shot! : )

LOL @ Marilyn's conga line reference! This is great, and they do look like drums. Fantastic textures and color. I like this a lot.

Excellent shot! :)

Conga pots!!! Way different from the stalking variety, although the one on the left is definitely king like and regal looking. There is a defining beat now running through my mind, rhythmic and enchanting, enticing me to perform strange and unnatural acts with red licorice whips and saddle tan shoe polish. Is this really in my head, or have you now found a way to subliminally encourage us also?.......Perhaps I just need another beer. I've made several pots of my own, albeit many many moons ago. The green glazing is really cool, but the carving on the one on the left is hard to do right, and still have it survive the firing process in the kiln. These were truly made by a masterful individual. Thanks so much for the share, M'lady!
