My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

LOL, love your comments. the shot is nice and it is clear that the man is staring at you wondering what are you doing.

LOL! Super shot by the way. I love the reflection and the x of the paddles! (Now I have Elvis on my mind.)

Great picture! anyone hear banjos playing?

Funny! I have something that I could post that would compliment this capture. Photo 1 has surprised young lady on extreme right side, photo 2 has her looking at me verrrry strangely...I hadn't noticed her at all until getting home. Was it my fault she just happened to be in the way? LOL. I am a perfectly innocent-looking middle-aged man just visiting the museum minding my own business. Did she think I was going to post her picture on the internet or something??

LOL!! Tara, What a wonderful expression you captured of him staring at you with that slight tilt of the head! Not to mention his reflection in the water! Excellent!!!

Brilliant shot, and such a funny commentary! Actually when I read the ebot I thought that is a REALLY eccentric name for an Iris.

How funny. I was snapping shots in the farmer's market yesterday never really thinking about the people there except how they best fit in as accent pieces in my composition ... until a delightful older couple saw I was pointed in their direction and then they started hamming it up for the camera. It was wonderful and I laughed so hard at their waving and winking at me that I almost didn't come back with any decent shot at all. :-)
