Description

What's this? No collage? Sheer blasphemy!!! The petite flower with the internal light, captured 6/30/09, early in the morning, within walking distance of my habitat. Better viewed full size. I trust morningglory will find this of particular interest. Tallyho.

I just love the fragile nature of the petals; which is odd considering the pervasiveness of the plants themselves. Spectacular lighting and details on this shot, Harry!

blasphemy, lol—I was a little shocked myself! (I thought, "did I forget to send my check? did my subscription lapse???") Harry, with shots like these, the montage isn't necessary—though I can see this as the concluding shot in one of your face-forward montages, it's just the kind of touch you do so well...The clean profile is beautiful, we really get to see how broad & flat the spread of petals are, on a flower; and you caught light, as you always do, gracing the portions it hits with full-flush presence, leaving the lower portion in restful shadow. And that red flower, left side (in soft focus) is a beautiful accent too. Yet another view of a flower that you've made fresh and beautiful. And another fav for me too.

Oh yes, I love Morning Glorys; this is one pretty pic! I planted some of my own and they always want to start climbing where they aren't supposed to .. but I got them finally trained and now I await their BLOOMS! :)
