Description
I've had several epiphanies since I posted the first version of this image. The storyline has changed a bit - we're now earlier in the timeline (circa 1909) and this is the very first fleet of rockets launched to Mars as part of a terraforming project on Phobos. The scene is set somewhere (on Earth) in the desert southwest. Mars is rising in the distance, and the service rail network is visible near the launch towers.
I expect the final version of this piece to be completed tomorrow.
