I wonder, is it proper to celebrate another century mark after you've passed 1000 uploads? I'm not aware of any ruling to the contrary. Besides, I'm big on birthdays, holidays and milestones; they're always fun to do, so why not?

You allready past another hundred? Time running fast. Wonderful rose shot, if it would be any closer I would just take one petal off trhough a screen. The colors are so nice as changing from yellow to red.

well I'm sorry my life took me away on the day you posted 1100. And yes, you can definitely celebrate 1100! Any cause for celebration is worthwhile, but 1100 images is a big deal. (I wonder how many contributors have reached that number. Esp with the quality you've given us...) It's a big bold rose, the reds & yellows are quite powerful, and it sits in its glory all by itself. Congratulations Harry, this is a terrific gallery, with amazing variety, from your plane shots to car shots to street & fence & brick shots, to your many beautiful flower shots one after the next, to your parade & historical & human shots of endless variety, and all informed by your amazing vitality of sight, your vivid sense of lighting and angle, your lying on the ground and twisting god-knows-where to get the 'shot' you want, and your sense of total respect & joy in what you share, not to mention your always present humor. Yeah, that's reason to celebrate! Beautiful shot, wonderful gallery, and I wish you many more. (Lynell says she's only 800 behind you: I'm only 900! Wow, Happy 1100 post..... sorry I'm late you know the boss thing. I've been popping off 164 reports a day to his clients at 150 dollars an hour, wow I really wish he would share that. That's 7500.00 a week in reports not to mention all the other stuff I do. I could so handle that. That's it I want a raise! Awesome rose and your right in full size it's totally awesome!

Well... Here I am to wish you a happy 1100! Yes, i believe that is a milestone. And this rose is a definite "In your face" with brilliance and vigor! So soft and smooth - almost like it was dipped in wax to preserve it.
