Description

This is small creek in Hawaii; I shot it from a bridge on our travels in May. With the help of some postwork, it ended up with this soft and dreamy look.

yes it's dreamy; but it's more than a dreamy look too: I do see the softened edges (vignetting the piece with faded soft focus) and it makes it like a vivid dream or memory. But the hues are exquisite, they're brought out very well; as is the light that moves across the water. And the textures in the shot are beautiful and like geologic layers. A beautiful shot in many ways, and the hues are almost super real. More stunning work from Hawaii...

This is super! When I saw the thumbnail, I thought you'd jumped over into the painting genre. It has such a wonderful painted quality, in terms of color and composition. I love the dreamy softness of it; there's that whole feeling of something fondly recalled, and only slightly blurred and softened by the passage of time. I love it when art does stuff like that; it moves, despite the fact that photos are static.
