Work n° 3 (and last) of serie of three paintings
According to the fourteenth of fifteen bas-relief "discoveried" by Henri Edouard NAVILLE(swiss egyptolog) at the beginning of 20th century (with H.Carter in particular who will find the Thoutankhamon'tomb.
KHEMEMET-IMEN HATSHEPSOUT ( Maâtkarê) about 1495-1455(????) BC ,daughter of Thoutmosis 1 and Ahmès
For me the most important queen (and kings) of the XVIII° dynasty of pharaonic civilisation Egypt with her stepson Thoutmosis III(Menkheperrê)
If she was an usuper woman for many egyptologs,....so the power generally is an usurpation
EXPLANATION:Thot brings then the newborn child and his Ka - In the Egyptian spirituality principle of vital and creative force of the individual which accompanies him from the birth and after the death (we can say also sound .. “double” (but it is more approximate ) to Amon who blesses them.
The child and his Ka were not restored during the restoration of the group under Ramsès II. Amon holds the newborn child and Thot his Ka, what confirms, above, cartridge and the center of the winged sun, placed in exact adaptation of the head of the newborn child held by Amon.
The scene aims at showing the nomination of the royal dignity, indicated by the winged solar disk (used traditionally in this sense since the Ancient Empire). It is again the assertion which the will of Amon lives and expresses himself well through King (idéel principle) who in this phase will be a woman seemingly Hatshepsout ( traduction: “The first of the women “)
The usurpation is in this way without flaw .The extraordinary political intelligency of HATSHEPSOUT triumph . She is designated*** ( adoubée in French) by AMON as WOMAN - KING( the word “pharaoh “ will appear some years later (co-regency with Thoutmosis III ).Beautiful victory of women 35 centuries before our 21° century……!!!!!!

Fabulous painting that in an SPLENDID way captures the moment in time when Hatshepsout aquired supreme power over upper and lower Egypt! Hatshepsout became a guardian for her stepson and ruled in his name but she had already in practice ruled for the 3-4 years when she was married to the weak King and her half-brother Thutmose I. Attractive, smart and intelligent -her fathers favourite child, she must have been accustomed to get what she wanted :)) Hatshepsut was a masterful politician and stateswoman who ruled the most powerful and advanced civilization at the time in almost 20 years. To the left side of the painting is Hatshepsuts tempel i Deir el Bahri, -the most beautiful and extravagant of all beautiful and extravagant Egyptian buildings. How it looked like with lush gardens and wineyards 3500 years ago we can only dream about. Thoth (the dead's advicer) depicted with the head of an Ibis. Amon = the chief deity.
