Description

Even the ducks have girls night out. Not a mallard or duckling to be found. This shot was taken in the evening on July 3rd at Miller's Bay right before the shot of My Girl. She came out of the water to see what I was doing, and what this was all about. The ducks over at the bay will eat right out of your hands. Thank you for looking. This was so neat to see and just watch!!! They pretty much came out of the water enmasse, meandered around a bit, constantly quacking to each other, as if carrying on conversations like their human counterparts. Mabel: Did you see what Louise had on today? Erma: Yeah, and I wouldn't be caught dead in feathers like that! Sylvia: She's been strutting around like that ever since Randy left her for that that young thing over on the island. Isabel: I hear they've even taken up a nest together Mabel: You don't say,....what is it with drakes these days anyway? Sylvia: Are you going to finish that? I'm still hungry! Isabel: Well, it's no wonder,...You're eating for six now!!!! Bernice:..(who arrived a few minutes later) Did you see what Louise had on today???
