Description

Best in full size. I took this shot during the full moon earlier this month. I got a little inspired and just started writing. It just seemed to fit the photo so well. I hope you enjoy it. Comments both critical and non critical are welcome and taken to heart. Thank you for taking the time to come and look. Thank you for all the comments on my previous posts. I think I'm one of those creatures of the night, because all of that "frightful" stuff really appeals to me, but then, it's also the time all of those really interesting six-legged people come out and do whatever it is that six-legged people do in the dark (probably shopping, foraging, hanging out at the local bush, you know...normal, every day stuff.) The picture is well captured and nicely moody, an excellent accompaniment to the poem, which has almost the sound of an incantation--funny how incantations tend to rhyme, but then that DOES make them easier to remember. This is lovely work. I do agree that it has something of an Edgar Allen Poe-ish tone to it...not in a derivative way. This is great. My one crit would probably be to render the text in a more off-whitish color, a hint off yellow would make the letters a wee bit clearer, but that's such a minor thing.
