Description

A lovely bit of moss from the day Denise and I spent at the Arboretum. I have no idea what sort of moss this is. You would think I would be able to identify several types, given how much moss there is here, but ... no. I don't know anything about moss except that I like it, it's very pretty, and I'm hoping one day it totally takes over the yard so we don't have to mow!

another beautiful portrait from you, another beautiful crop making it an intimate view of a large living thing, and the yellows of the moss are beautifully backed by the subtle yellow-greens in the background. It's simple & beautiful, yet complex. What you do in these small spaces is amazing. It's lush & overflowing but presented like a locket: Everything spills & is contained in the small space you choose. A beautiful piece.
