Description

This being my 100th post I thought it be appropriate to go back to my beginnings. My first post was a Bokeelia Sunset and actually was taken within minutes of this one. It's also very small because resizing to post was brand new to me. So for the corny title, but The Eagles song Tequila Sunrise, which is actually a drink, came to mind while I was going through my photos last night, I apologize. I have made so many friends over the last 99 posts. I have found a third family here. You are all such incredible people. I am most honored to know you. I look forward to making many more friends over the years to come here, and I know that they will be equally as incredible. I am really glad Dave talked me into coming to Rendo. I had no idea what an awesome group of people I was missing. I can't even fathom my life without you all in it anymore. Thank you to all those who have favorited me as an artist, I am so moved by the honor. Thank you to all who have faved my posts, the fact that you liked them that much is also a great honor. Thank you to all those who have commented and critiqued , I hold those comments dear to my heart. Thank you to all who have friended me, for you are all very special and dear friends. Oooh, roundabout!....Cool idea, I like the idea of going back to where you first started, this also demonstrates how much you've grown.....you are my ever changing butterfly! Cheri first posted some of her photographs at another site, most of the comments were very critical, we learned quickly that these were for the most part professional photographers, and I don't think they really appreciated her being there, and they had no problems letting her know that with their comments and critiques. It took seemingly forever to convince her to try again, but this time here. You all have made all the difference, encouraging, giving her helpful suggestions, but most of all,....just being you! I came to love just coming here, seeing all of the wonderful art, reading the comments you left for each other and came to understand just how unique this community really is. We would be hard pressed to find so many "real" and caring people anywhere else, period. Cheri has made you all so much a part of her life, knows you all by name,....your real ones, confusing me at times when we talk, and I tell her to just say the Rendo name, which I know most of you better as. You've become her third family, and when she says she loves you all, they aren't just words, but totally heartfelt! Congratulations for reaching this milestone honey,.....but I thank all of the people here, for helping to make it so. You are all very special in our hearts, and we are so very grateful for having had the opportunity to get to know you. Thank you all!!!!!

You're kidding! 100 posts already? It seems like you just started! In any event, congratulations on this momentous milestone, as you climb up the ladder of Renderosity, Cheri! And, great silhouetting of the frond-laden palm tree, with the sun peeking through -- a photo I suspect not taken in Oshkosh.
