Description
Today was the big air show. Before warned I got 747 shots today. I went out this morning and bought camcorder batteries so I knew I could get a lot of shots. I thought my camera and card could only held 532, I was wrong. I still had room for 92 more.
Ok this I thought you would like goodoleboy. I promised you via site mail along time ago that I would put up the photos of this years show. So I thought I would take it one step farther and dedicate the first one to you. I don't know what kind of planes they are. I just know it was awesome. I know you would have liked to be here in person.
I wanted desperately to see White Knight Two Eve take off today. It never did, the wind shear was to great. That could have been a really cool post. If you guys don't know what that one is google it. Anyway Dave's mom and I stood in the JC Penny's parking lot with our cameras ready for 40 minutes. Then we found out it wasn't taking off. Penny's parking lot is at the end of the runway.
Ok it's supposed to be family night, so I have to get going. We are watching a movie together. Have a great night. I'll see you all tomorrow.

Great Cheri. You've got four super maneuverable aerobatic planes here. I'd give my eye teeth to have been there for this weekend. Is that where you all live?

The show today consisted of mostly stunt planes, which in itself was pretty cool to watch, they did have a few runs with the war birds, but nothing in like years past. I was hoping to see at least a few jets go up, perhaps the economy has also taken its hit here as well. For bmac62, yeah, this takes place every year right here almost in our backyard, the Whitman field airport is about maybe seven minutes away if we hit the lights wrong. Pretty cool, we get to see the airshows for free. I can't believe Cheri took so many shots, she must've spent the entire time looking through the view finder again. I know the jets will be going up tomorrow for certain, it's the last day of this event, we'll just have to go back out again! Sweet shot baby, can't wait to see how the ones where they're flipping head over tails turn out!

Great shot looks as if you were so near!!!! We had an airshow near us a few weeks ago, loads of people didn't get there as it was so popular the roads were jammed!!!!!!! The red arrows are stationed not far from us.

Nice capture! You'll lose my attention with plane pics (nothing personal, I just don't know anything about them) but I'll at least look at them all! Just don't count on me for any meaningful comments. I'm more of the "oooooooohh! pretty!!" type when it comes to this sort of thing. It would be fun to be there and see what happens, though!

Cheri, I'm humbled and thankful at and for this dedication! I really appreciate you thinking of me during and after this aeronautical display. This kind of reminds me of debbielove's grandstand offerings of military aircraft. As for the stunt planes in this shot, I have no idea as to their make or model. Three of them look like bargain basement P-51 Mustangs. Quite a sight against the overcast skies. And you took a plenitude of pictures! Thanks again, my friend!

Nice shot! These guys were buzzing my house in Milwaukee the week before EAA. I tried taking shots of them but none were as detailed as this.
