Wow, you all are bowling me over with kindness and concern. Thank you!
I caught my avatar here at the bowl in the bright sun recently. Maria (CavalierLady) always says that the BEST time for photographing birds is midday when the sun is highest. If you will zoom, I think these results bear witness to the truth of Maria's words.
Surgery has been finally scheduled for Thursday of next week, August 13th. There has been a number of appointments leading up to this and I apologize for giving the impression it was imminent this week.
So, I'll keep posting through the 12th...old habits are hard to break. Have also told Tara (Auntietk), that I'd ask my daughter to tell her how things come out from my flaunting superstition with having this on the 13th. LOL
Until then and for a couple of weeks after the 13th my comments may be a bit hit and miss but I am looking at everything everyday.
