Description

This is from the second time we went down to Florida on vacation. The first time was 7 years prior. Our first full day down there I couldn't wait to hit the beach. This was of coarse before we found out it was spring break. This photo was taken coming down off the bridge onto Ft Myers Beach. I can totally understand why so many older Wisconsinites winter down here. It was awesome to get away from the frigid cold. The day we left Wisconsin it -8F. It was upper 70s to lower 80s the whole time we were down there. Ah yes this was a welcomed site. Thank you for looking, Thank you for all the comments on my previous post. Have a wonderful evening, I get to go sit at the clinic were they are doing the physicals for all the kids taking sports up here, with my son. He took cross country running, ya. Peace, Cheri

WOW!! Couldn't wait to finally get here, it was about a twelve hour drive the day before. To have the opportunity to just go down to the beach and vegetate was awesome for me, no itinerary, just sit back and relax. The spring break thing never even crossed my mind, all I can safely say about it is that the girls that spring break definitely wear a smaller bikini that what they wear during summer around here!! I got such a sore neck on this day,....well...at least I'm honest! Nice one sweetie, not only brings back warm memories, but also really warm ones too!

What a nice shot.. this actually looks like something that was done in Vue. Nice work and I like the blue tones as a backdrop for the nice colors of everything in the foreground. Once again... nice work!!!

My favorite time to visit Florida is in the fall, beaches are mostly empty. And good rates on hotels that way. Glad you enjoyed it.

Sun! Look it still is alive! And a beach... Oh sand between the toes... can't remember.... When I lived by the sea at Deal in Kent it had boulders the size of hand grenades on it... Not fun to walk on! A lovely picture.. Enjoy your Vacation.... Rob.

Funny I live near the beach here & never set foot on it!!!! Rather go into the country, maybe we just take it for granted. Lovely pic, glad you enjoyed.

fantastic inviting view, would like a bit of sunshine myself at the moment, we've got great weather for ducks, rain, rain, rain, and more rain, so much our street is begining to look like a river! in fact I'm begining to get the urge to built a boat, a big boat.....

Oh no ... Florida beaches at Spring Break? I would have been looking for someplace to hide! That's too many people for me. Man ... just look at all those palm trees!
