Description

This could have also gone under Social commentary in that it is an example of the way people view themselves and others. Simple acts of kindness and courtesy seems to have flown out the window these days. as well as just doing things right the first time. Thanks for the comments and faves Mike

A-men, brother. And sometimes, I think Darwin had it wrong. I think apes evolved from man saying, "Screw you hippies, we're heading for the trees."

The splat guy was pushed!!!!! maybe by the cart pushers. I didn't have any crime scene tape... LOL would have been good, with some of your little characters hanging around.

I once got caught in a jam like this. They had to remove my groceries with the jaws of life! Just when I think civil society is a thing of the past and I vow I'm not going to take it anymore, someone holds open a door for me and I have to start all over. Simple picture with a spot on message.

Nice capture Rene, it's the end result of social engineering, every man for himself and stuff anyone else its.. "all about me". A very sorry state mankind is in... Anyway have a great day/night oh and I always try to get my horse into the coral ;-)

Absolutely classic shot, Mike! And isn't it the truth? Me, personally, I always take the time to put a cart back properly (if not take it back to the store area itself). A kind of depressing social commentary, but true none the less. "Chivalry is not dead....just comatose." Boy, ain't that the truth? Grat shot.

Great shot Mike, a situation like this one I have not yet seen here in Spain, here you must also deposit a coin, but even than you can find the carts everywhere - 50 cents is not enough - Lol!!!!

This is a problem they don't really have in Germany like the comment by Flannelman above. You have to deposit a coin or a special plastic disc to get a cart and it is returned to you when you return it. It usually a 1 Euro coin or a 50 cent coin but enough that somebody would take th time to return the cart when they are finished! I'm sure if stores in the states started doing that it probally still wouldn't work. the airports do the same thing and people still leave there carts all over! Go figure! nice capture mike!
