Description

We're back in that old barn on the dunes. This is after that owl did his fly by and scared the **** outta me!! You can see how the sand is slowly creeping in and taking over. I'm sure this barn is at least 100 years old; it's timbers are massive redwood beams and they are as strong as ever (you'll be seeing those shortly).

Was the owl in there? High five for going back in there. Also liked the shot for the inside and the natural frame that you caught. Dana

I love that you didn't try to take out the black, that you left it and didn't try to clarify what was 'in' it: You knew that its power was in its total blackness, and you let that dominate. And then the glimpse outside, and an expanse of tiny sands and those sand creepers & other growths and old wood, etc, that populate sands...a wonderful glimpse photo with no apologies to anything: It's bold and shows a slice of life and it does it as if the whole world is in it, which it is. Really fine shot Marilyn.
