"My My My, it's the Wolfeman Jack Show and my friends name is Kurt and he's looking out for a blonde young lady in a white Thunderbird" Thank you George Lucas, American Grafitti is my favourite movie! Another kool shot of one of Dearborn's finest.

I love these self-portraits in the chrome of cars! There you are! But your reflections is swirled around by all this chrome & light. That's one saturated red! And that's a Thunderbird? Ok, m'dear, time to take a shamanistic journey: You know that the Thunderbird, in Native American societies, was a very powerful symbol; in some cultures it was a protector who killed enemies, in others it was evil itself, killing good people; but in all, it had massive wings that, when flapped, caused thunder & its blinking eyes caused lightning. In the Sioux, it was named "blessed wings". But in some cultures it fought White Owl Woman (we getting close to home here?) who defeated Thunderbird with her superior wings & wisdom. Maybe that owl was saying something to you! (Maybe you're her, looking into the TBird and grabbing its essence & splendor while not getting so much as nicked! This is what ancient tale tellers do, you know, they find the tale inside the moment...so there's my tale! Who knew a little car could be such a messenger!) Love the shot. More power. (This session in your gallery is about power, isn't it!)
