Description
Blackbeck Tarn
Another of those secretive little tarns that are hidden in the fells of Cumbria on my walk over Haystacks.
This is Blackbeck Tarn just behind Haystacks.
The heather in bloom stands out in stark contrast to the craggy rock formations.
In the distance you can see the mountain tops of Great Gable and Green Gable which stand at 2949 and 2603 feet respectively

i just love your landscape works. photography is like a foreign language to me, and landscape compositions befuddle me in any format. there's just too much to them. so i not only enjoy your works, and appreciate that you bring such a lovely, remote place to those of us who are far away, i learn a great deal from your colors and your compositions.
