Description
A hydrangea in the corner of a friend's yard.
I'm on the road, now in Truckee, California, across from Donner Lake. I've already walked a couple of miles, watched that glorious early morning light on the lake. Jordan (my son ) and I rode our bikes around the lake yesterday, including this NASTY uphill stretch that seemed to go on forever (I think it might have been half a mile) and left me gasping. But I did it, and it was mostly downhill from there, our reward!!
I'll be leaving shortly for southern California and hope there will be something left when I get there.Wildfires are rampant and the entire LA basin is pretty scary.

Stellar lighting and deep vivid colors in this capture, Maz! Good luck picking through the burned-out debris and embers when looking for something to photograph when you're down here. Of course, it would make an interesting folder of photos when showing the power of flames gone beserk.

another of your flower shots in an intimate space, that nevertheless seems to grow outside itself and spill over into our space. Very vital & undulating, and the background is rendered as an almost liquid curtain to the flowers. Beautiful seeing.
