Description

Tomorrow, four Rosity greats will be visiting! Two from the West Coast, Marilyn (beachzz) & Tara (auntietk); and two from here, Chip (Chipka) and Corey (CoreyBlack). 'Here' means Chicago: This little 'vision' is for them... They're all photographers and--you ready?--writers! Do you know what that means? It means 1) I'll have my picture taken more times than any human should be allowed by law; and 2) I won't get a word in edgewise (lol). So I'm bringing a face-mask & a megaphone: That should help, I think... Tara says she & Marilyn take "tons of pictures". So I ask: Do photographers sleep? Do they photograph in their sleep? Marilyn said she forgot her camera once & had to be taken away on a stretcher. Ok I'm lying, but really, do they hear "clicks" in their dreams? Do they photograph everything--ie, particles of dust? Do they stop and shout, "wait! An ameba!" I'm just curious. I have a feeling I'm gonna learn alot this weekend... Oh, and Bill (bmac62) was supposed to come but he's recovering from surgery. We'll miss you, Bill! But: I'm turning up the wind, getting it to snow, hiring Muddy Waters to play blues for us personally (which is a helluva trick considering he died in 1983) and getting the entire cast of Second City to join us for dinner. I'd invite Al Capone, but he's been dead a long time; and besides, Chicago's not like that anymore. (Well not entirely, lol...)
* * * * * * I can't wait! I'll see you all tomorrow! Thanks to everyone for your support: It means the world to me! Have a fine evening! Mark (Photoshop)

Sooooo....The blossoming city has wonderful flowers due to arrive!! I would say that - the very same way you have these images blooming with sparkles and shine is pretty much how you encourage your friends to "try on" a new look. You coax them and inspire them to glow with a positive outlook. The cream of the crop is coming to spend time with you!! I'm sure you'll all find Muddy Waters (or someone JUST as good and a bit more reachable!) somewhere - leave it to them! And by the way, Al Capone would be no match for the talented pack you'll be hanging with... I hope you all have a blast and btw...who needs sleep?? Excellent and cheerful welcome you've posted. It erupts with joy from the ground up. Blessings to you all.

I'm jumping up and down with excitement, myself! 24 hours from RIGHT THIS MINUTE I will be grinning frome ar to ear and getting a lot of great hugs from some of my favorite people! ..... And can I use this space for free advertising? On Saturday Dave and Cheri (elfin12u and elfin14doaks) will be joining us, and if you've always wanted to meet any of those in attendance at this perhaps weird and crazy gathering, drop one of us a line and let us know. We don't want to hear "You were in Chicago and you didn't TELL me? I would have shown up!" So. We're telling! We're telling! Saturday's the day. ..... Now back to our regularly scheduled program ... So Mark ... this is a fantastic "Welcome to Chicago!" image! The excitement is building here, just like it does in this series of gorgeous, colorful, organic frames. I can HEAR the orchestra tuning up, see the strings vibrating, and I love the way it all comes together in the end ... just like we all will! It's a perfect way to show what the next few days will be like. I'm not worried a bit about you getting a word in ... you're as much of a writer as the rest of us, so I'm sure you'll be just fine! LOL!

You're so funny! Have a glorious time: all of you! These images are glowing as I'm sure you are right now. I hope if you take photos of your gathering, you'll share them with the rest of us. These remind me of photography, zooming in on various levels and I see a tropical flower. All bathed in your intensity and light. : )

Mark this is a wonderful collage and so full of happiness and life. It's easy to see in it your excitement and enthusiasm knowing your friends are coming. I'm sure you'll have a great time with them and reading your description of all of it really brought a smile to my face :)

Gorgeous artwork, infused with various beautiful and special representations and meanings! Your choice of colors, the way in which they blend and grow together are superb....... the lines, the texture... absolutely stunning! Such a wonder for the eyes to behold, and what a marvellous treat! A most talented and masterful composition!

Absolutely amazing, Mark! These are gorgeous and mesmerizing beyond any adjectives I can conjure up. All I can say with certainty is that these utterly fantastic compositions remind me of what I see when I stare at a lava lamp for about three hours straight. And, how did you get four, that's right, four...count 'em...Renderosity members to come out to visit you? I'm lucky to get a polite nod from any of them vis-a-vis my postings. In fact, where do Tara and Marilyn get the money to even travel long distances? I thought we were in the depths of a recession.

A gathering of the great and the garrulous! What a prospect! I'd love to pop in for coffee and a chat with you all - what's your teleport address? I must agree with three_grrr - there's little prospect of you not being allowed to express yourself, Mark :o)) If the gathering is half as exuberant as your wonderful image, you'll all be exhausted within the hour! (just kidding) Have a fantastic weekend with some of my favourite people on Rosity - I'm already anticipating the explosion of creativity that such an illustrious gathering might engender...

Gorgeous images ... like a garden growing wild. And what a grand time you will have with everyone. I've no doubt the conversations will be non-stop, full of laughter, lightness, and much wisdom. Writers not only love to talk, but they also love to listen. Have a great time. CC

As I slowly catch up I now see so many things going together...this is beautiful! Bouquets of flowers...best part about these flowers is they need no water and wilting is impossible. I got a real kick out of your words...SOME of our digital cameras don't click but you'd approve of mine...it has a real sound when the shutter functions (but it is a full-sized digital single-lens reflex). I do have a small pocket camera with a silent setting used for taking photos of sleeping babies...nary a sound and no flash on that setting:-) So, now you've been exposed or maybe overexposed...you don't have to say which, but I can tell you enjoyed yourself as much as the others enjoyed you which was immensely.
