Description
I learned Thursday Morning that Mary Travers, the angel-voiced member of Peter, Paul & Mary, passed away at the age of 72, after fighting a valiant battle with leukemia. I grew up listening to that trio sing very beautiful and moving songs.
Their's was a harmony that was unmatched in any genre of music.
If you have never heard them sing, please do yourself a favor and pick up one of their CDs, you will not be disappointed in what you hear. and you will then understand what I mean when I say that heaven's choir just got a new lead singer.

I've only heard one or two songs by them. I seem to remember one song they play around X-mas time every year.

One of my all time faves .. she had a magical voice. I saw a picture of her in the paper, and she was still beautiful, despite the ravages of age, cancer and chemo. A wonderful tribute to her.
