Description

Which is the ONLY kind of shopping I did in Chicago--I didn't come home with so much as a t-shirt. Not that I didn't want to, but guess that'll be my NEXT trip!!

I like all the levels of reflection in this shot; expensive glass, eh?

Certainly is the biggest name in perfume. Lighting and reflections make this quite special. I didn't buy anything either except for a touristy photo of my two fellow travellers and me after visiting the top of the Willis (Sears) Tower.

Excellent! I'm loving seeing your photographs. No matter that I was standing right there ... we still get such different shots!

not entirely true, re buying nothing: You bought a camera strap! (I wish I'd saved the old one as a souvenir...) Anyway, this was at Water Tower Place, and I remember you two standing at the windows shooting away—one of those moments we non-photographers just honor, because it's what you do & you have to follow the 'call'...The shot has a mirage-like quality, and that light atop is 'Marilyn' light, intense & almost of another world & making the whole feel like a dream. And it's rich in reflections too, PS layers in the real world. Lovely work Marilyn. (And am I right to think that if that bottle were on sale, it would cost, like, 80 billion dollars?)
