It's not the fall that can kill you, it's the sudden stop at the end! Can you imagine this being your job??? No way they could pay me enough to do that, and I'm not afraid of heights!!!.....of course I've also never been that high on the outside of the building, maybe I would be.

Spectacular capture of the window washers, who, incidentally, never have to worry about ever running out of work, the wonderful geometric building and deep blue sky in this fabulous shot, Maz! Really super!

Our building is 26 stories and twice a year the window washer make their way down the sides of the building. Its always a thrill whether viewed from the inside or out. :-) Great shot.

Great capture, but you know if they got me up on one of those scaffolds you would never get me down again. I would be clinging to the building with my eyes shut LOL.

Think about when you finish, it is time to start all over again or you need to start on the inside. Dana

I was there when you showed us this shot too: Do you know what a trip it is for me to see these, having been there at their inception? I mean, I can't explain how cool that is...This is a wonderful shot, and a perfect example of the famous "3"s: The dark building at left (the Hancock—which is almost unrecognizable in this shot, nice job), the tall central building, and the sky at right which you wisely left in. It's almost an abstract, except that it's so clearly 2 buildings & sky. (And you didn't give us any ground to 'root' us, which makes it pure geometry.) I love the shot. And I love the dialogue about window washers: Yes they try to get finished in a day. Though these could be tuckpointers or concrete repairers; and the reason they were gone the next day—if it was saturday—is that it's intensely loud & they don't want to disturb tenants on the weekend. Wonderful geometric city play, and you gave us a big dayglo sky too.
