Description

Ok , Ok I admit it, I was one of the band of Ninja photographers running loose in Chicago. So we weren't all innocent, but we had a great time. Top Left Mark (anahata.c) and Marilyn (beachzz) Top Middle Corey (coreyblack)and Juanita ( elfin12u's mom) Top Right Chip (chipka) Big one in the middle Everyone but me, I was ninjaing Bottom Left Mark (anahata.c) and Dave (elfin12u) Bottom Middle Tara (auntietk) Bottom Right The Master Ninja herself Me We had an awesome day and I got to ninja so many people doing so many things. It was great. By the way Chip walked around with that cup on his head for a bit and even bent down and took photos like that. I was amazed. Ok update on the Badger-care: Called to see what was holding up the decision. My bosses wife who handles our payroll has not sent or faxed back the paperwork. All she has to do is validate I work there and the pay stubs I sent in were from them. They are giving her two weeks if she doesn't do it then they will go a head with processing me and fine her. After the initial two weeks from first being sent, they sent her a certified copy and made her sign for it. They know she got it. The reason for the fuss, because no taxes were sent in for my tax I.D. number this year. I am not the first person that they did this to. I save all my check stubs anyway. Once they process it I will be eligible and it will go back to the month I first applied. Yea, that means the bills already out there, and we will get back what I have already paid. This is provided I pay the small amount for the coverage to go back. I already said oh yes I will. I will have a monthly premium of about 35.00 but I can definitely handle that one. Whew. BTW the reason I had to take a half day to do it, because there are so many people applying for help due to all the layoffs up here. I was on hold longer then I could have stayed on hold using my cell phone on break. We are not allowed to use the phones at work for any reason. If there is an emergency they have to go through the switch board and the operator decides if we even get notified so we can call back on our cells at work on break. Don't have a cell, then borrow one from someone else. Have a really great day/ night/ evening/ morning. Thanks for a the crossed fingers, it worked! Love and peace, Cheri

OMG, what a motley crew...LOL! I didn't know Tara had gray hair, or that Chipka was so tall. Juanita looks most trim, neat and chic. And Mark is in dire neat of a hair trim. But the only one with glamorous movie star looks in this whole pack is the young lady checking out her camera in the bottom right photo. All in all, you ninja-ed your way to a stellar collage of fellow Rendorians shutter-clicking their way to happiness, Cheri!

Wonderful photos. It looks like such fun. I use 'Adobe Photoshop Elements 7' to resize. I don't know if I am doing it the most correct way, but it works fine. I LOVE photoshop. My only complaint is that it crashes easily. I save frequently and always before I change sections. I second the yeaaaaa on your Badger-Care! Your work didn't send in taxes they owed for you!? I should think that could get them some pretty hefty fines. What an added stress that you did not need! I'm glad it's all being sorted out. I'm also glad I can uncross all my fingers now. It really slowed down my typing! LOL

I use IrfanView as well. It's a free download. It's VERY limited as to what it can do, but it has its good points. I've been using it to resize photos for a couple years. I'm happy to help if you need me. Great captures! I had no idea you were shooting us there. Of course I was a little busy myself, as you see! LOL! That was such a fun place.

wonderful to see those loose phtographers around! your story about work is absolutly nightmarish! in Italy maybe we are a bunch of undisciplined anarchists, but it would be impossible a story like yours!

I've been late commenting everywhere Cheri, so forgive my lateness getting to your wonderful shots. I'm beginning at the most recent because I wanted to convey my deepest wishes on the success of this Badger plan. I understand the red tape, but it sounds like you'll get it, even retroactively, and pay little in the long run. Bravo! I wish you all the best. And I wish you much more in the treatments, etc. Your spirit in Chicago was wonderful, considering all you'd just been through. Like I said, I've known many people who've had the same condition & come out of it with flying colors. My wishes & prayers are with you 1000%, great power to you. You deserve it. As for the picture—well first: My gratitude to Juanita for being with us, keeping up with our antics and being so patient as we meandered all over the planet that day. There were points where all the photographers were pointing your cameras in my direction (!) and I wanted to yell, "I'm innocent!" You don't know...when you're the 'observer' of photographers, it's a real trip! I wish I had a camera just to capture all of you shooting the city... These are wonderful shots: I look my usual vagabond self, though the shot of me in the center panel looks like I'm about to give a funeral oration (lol); you caught Corey looking his usual deeply engaged & fascinated (he's both); Juanita looking very kind & patient; I'm soooooo glad you got that shot of Chip with the huge drink on his head, I was hoping someone caught that, he walked around with total ease with that thing; a great group shot in the center; a really nice shot of me & Dave (dave was so totally engaged in everyone & everything, it was amazing, esp considering what he went through the night before, and the ride, etc.; great attitude on both of you); (and btw, those 'wings' in my hair aren't intentional: they have a will of their own); a perfect shot of Tara who I'm sure is smiling, as she did a lot on the trip (and wearing a shirt she made herself!); and I'm glad you got a shot of you because it would be sad if we didn't get to see your shining presence in the midst of all this. (It looks like you're in the hotel room.) And btw, Marilyn walked very fast during the trip & was often miles ahead if nobody called her (lol): You saw that along with the blitz-krieg from the flying birds. And then every so Marilyn & I would turn around & Tara would be miles behind shooting through fence-links or subway stations, as we muttered, "do you think she was abducted??" But we all managed to stick together Saturday; and the only hard part for me—the only—was having to leave. Beautiful montage, wonderful to see it all...and I wish you the very best with your health.

Oh wow...you got that cup on my head!!! How long was it there...? My spine is so stiff! Anyway, I love these pictures and the mood in all of them. And HA!!! I got a shot of the Ninja Photographer being a ninja photographer...I'll send it to you! Great news here as well, and all around fantastic. I have a warm and fuzzy feeling when I see this collage! Hey, was that nina-self-portrait taken at the Artist's cafe on Michigan Avenue?
