Description

these are 5 flames without the use of scripts, the way we use to do it.those scripts are awesome but I enjoy the other way also yesterday I went to my favorite local park to exercise and take pictures. well any way a man approached me and asked if he could help me. I said well if you have any spare money! he replied, I seen you taking pictures and wondered if you are from a magazine or what. I asked him who are you, and I have been taking pictures here for years. any way the director was near and he called him over.I already met him before. any way he said the first man is the new supervisor over the park. I think it is pretty dam bad when they start questioning people in a public park taking pictures.what the heck has this world went to? I know several key places has been put on alert for possible terrorists bombings, but a city park? get real people.the only thing there is some old antique farming tractors and some buildings that are rotting thanks for stopping and any comments

Great colours and shapes in this on Richard, I love your reply lol if you have any spare money lol, I guess they are getting scared of anyone doing something they dont do.. guess they have everyone running scared over there.. Here in New Zealand the Prime ministers electrol office was fire bombed a few week ago and the police just treated it as "just another arson attack" nothing special.. Besides whats there in New Zealand worth having..mm Just our freedom maybe ;-) Excellent work too Richard!!

I love all the rich colors Richard. As far as the pic's well it is a sad day when you can't even take a picture with out being questioned. Like today for example- I was pulled over by a cop- can you imagine that? 48 years old and never had a ticket before in my life- pulls me over and said I ran a stop sign. Well, the good Lord is my witness I did NOT run a stop sign. Now I will admit it was a California stop but a stop none the less :) LOL what is this world coming too! :)

We had a tourist area erect signs (Southbank, Melbourne) forbidding photography.. Camera confiscation and very severe fines were the penalties. This was done without any consulting with the residents or ratepayers. The next weekend the local media encouraged people to come and take photos. More than 70,000 people came with cameras. By Monday morning the signs were GONE..!!

First Richard let me say what a truly lovely image this is you created. It is almost like a bouquet of beautiful flowers. NOw let me say I'm distressed to hear that you were approached in a public park but sadly not surprised. The government both local and federal has been over stepping for a long time now and it just gets worse.

Beautiful flames. Love the colors. Yes, it seems our freedoms are being swept away one by one and day by day. We are no longer living in a free Constitutional Republic.

We live distrusting each other... there is only suspicion and fear! What a pity! Beautiful fractal image! :)

You are quite right to be angry. My son is a photographer and he runs into it all the time as well. Even taking a photo of his daughter on a slide in a mall, security told him he couldn't. Another time, in a church while photographing the stained glass windows. Stupid people! Sorry for the empathetic rant! Your flames look very beautiful. I also like your new avatar very much.
