BIO I'm an illustrator, and for the last 15 years I have been doing almost exclusively digital work--mostly covers for e-books and small presses; fantasy, SF and Paranormal Romance covers are my specialty. I use Poser, Photoshop and Painter, and a nifty little paint program called ArtRage. I have been lucky enough to have work shown on the BBC's The Sky at Night, done promotional artwork for the Hugos, and have digital art tutorials published in Michael Burn's Femme Digitale and Digital SciFi Art (Watson-Guptill 2004) as well as DVD covers, cd covers and e-book covers, most recently for Liquid Silver Books, Edge/Tesseract and Dragon Moon Press. I'm also a member of the International Association of Astronomical Artists. . When I have time, I do acrylic paintings for fun.
Commissions: I do 3d texturing and backgrounds now rather than book covers, and I do appreciate a good UV template to work on. Thanks for checking out my bio!

Obviously it's warm weather, daytime and I see no appearance of a hat. Now whatever in the world could happen to two chaps that won't listen to advice? Oh well, the villains never live long anyway! Fantastic work on the cliffside in the background!

OK, you tease, I zoomed on this to see that bug, the one laying eggs on the ridge. I looked and looked. I think that bug flew away! :) Anyway, love your story telling here. And you get browny points for their names. Love 'em, especially Blades of Grass. You made me chuckle there. Great 'villians' but they are such cute ones. And Blade is M2. Wow, retro Mike. Great background and wonderful postwork.

Cool scene and story!
magnus073
Well Lynn I think they are two of the coolest villians I've ever seen and you did a great job on this pic and in giving us their history.

Your characters look great, and this is an excellent picture. Very very nice job putting this together, and your story is well done, too.

Fantastic Lynn all around

this is my favorite in the series so far. it's the most integrated and complete, to my eyes, and i like how you show them in action. their faces and expressions make them seem very benign at this point. i really like how you painted the clothing, and your technique with the background. i think their skin is a little pink/purple for their environment (i'd expect more yellows and greens), and their hair seems awfully neat (Blade's especially looks very GQ). maybe if you painted more structure in the hair (hanks, strands, or what have you)? i don't know, because i've never been very good at messy hair myself ;D. overall, i love all the detail (especially the bug), and i'm really intrigued by the story.

You know I love it when you mix your painting with your renders, it adds so much to a rendered image. Looks wonderful and they look wonderful :)
