Description

Bryce6.1/DazStudio/Photoshop A further exploration of lighting...this time I decided to play around with some recent props from Daz3D.The pottery is part of the Egyptian Pottery set,the Column is from the Temple of the Pharoahs set(all posed in DazStudio). The sand is a custom terrain that I created using the various settings in the terrain editor(subcontours, subplateaus, smoothing and erosion),the texture is a modified preset. The sunlight was disabled, and one radial light with moderate falloff and low light setting was placed in front of the grouping to simulate the light from a single lantern as the tomb was opened for the first time in centuries.Rendered in Premium with soft shadows and true ambiance selected.Post in Photoshop involved a slight levels adjustment and signature. Thanks for viewing, your previous comments, and any you wish to leave!

Kudos on the sandy terrain, Neil. The lighting works extremely well...perhaps objects lying in wait for discovery in an ancient tomb of a Pharaoh.

Very natural looking, good work. It's a pity (but not your fault) that some of the models are so low poly.

That's a still life that's been "still" for thousands of years.
