Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Looks great. It appears somebody has been taking target practice using the weathervane. Could that be?

A grand shot, Marilyn. Am checking in here via the city library. Hope to return to RR in the near future. I really miss everyone.

Wowwwww!! This is great! I was attracted to the thumb, not thinking about who the artist was. Imagine my surprise! This isn't your usual style, but gosh ... it's glorious anyway!!

This is fantastic. There are a few houses along these lines in Chicago, and they always seem somewhat out of place...the architectural style is older and those red stones are fantastic! I love you POV here, I've got similar pictures in my own collection that are similar...something about that roofline is just appealing to me. Great clarity and wonderful moodiness too. How did I miss this before now? Oh, never mind, I saw it and I love it! This is superb work!
