Description

This area is just so cool. This is another shot at the dells. The landscape is just something right out out a great science fiction or fantasy novel. I love this place and to have found it so close to home was great. I have a lot of pictures taken there waiting to be shared. I know this maybe a bit grainy, sorry. My camera does not like low light. Walking around in the paths of the cliff and rock formations was just such a cool experience. Ok as you know I am looking into starting a insurance co-op. As promised I am going to tell you were I am at. One of the insurance companies I checked out is a nation-wide company, they are in all 50 states. I emailed my questions and some of the answers I am waiting for back. One of the things that did amazed me however was the rates they already have for families. They are low, and with a group would be lower. I could easily expand into other states. I like that part too. They were as stoked as I was. One of the reps is going to be emailing me more stuff on Monday. She called while I was at work....opps I had my cell phone on. This actually sounds relatively easy. Which raises a question. Why hasn't anybody done this before? This insurance company is one of the same ones that most of the states use for their "madicaid" programs. That was interesting to know, and Wisconsin is one of them. BTW I got another letter from Wisconsin. It stated I could reapply and if I am accepted my premium would be $400.00 a month. Not because of a pre-existing condition, but because I have a job. So I asked and since they didn't not know about my condition either they said I could get the same plan through them for ........ get this 147.00 a month and for both Ryan and myself. Then I found out too that they deny pre-eisting conditions even through Badger Care and then they make you apply for title 19, which I wouldn't qualify for anyway. That's ok I found something better for me anyway. Ok I have got a ton over posts the wander through. You all have a great night...I love you all. I am taking care of me too. Dave I am sure won't let me get drained. Peace and love, Cheri

Reminds me very much of the redwood forests where I live. That's great news about your insurance--I hope it continues to get better for you; it's sure not something you need to be worrying about on top of everything else.

First this is just a stunning photo (setting)! Second I am loving the way you are turning this "misfortune" around from something negative to something positive! I know it is not all rosy and there will continue to be hardships and heartaches but just the fact you are doing something to improve, not only your situation, but that of others as well, speaks of just how wonderful you are!

Primeval! That's the word I've been trying to recall on describing many a photo, Cheri! Thanks! That word and "primordial." That's what happens when you approach senility. I think the detail, lighting and texture are top notch in this snap. And the best of luck in your quest.

Beautifuly balanced shot, makes you wonder how the trees find room to grow roots amongst the rocks. Looks a lovely place to re-charge those drained energies, just what you need with the insurance & health battles, glad to hear you're making headway with them.

The composition is very well done. The rock faces on either side draw the viewer toward the trees and the background beyond. Your crusade sounds very exciting. You just might start a national movement. Keep us posted and when you are ready, sign me up!

Glad to see you have a "mission." Not only are you helping yourself but others and it gets you through each day a bit easier. I think a lot about you and wonder where you get your strength. This is a very interesting shot with a unique view and creative postwork applied.
