Description

I forgot about this folder. It was just sitting there going hello open me.....Ok it didn't really say that but..... I Took this during EAA Airshow August 4th 2008. It's a little grainy. The planes were moving really fast, but they were low enough and close enough that I got some really great shots. Bill, Rob, and Harry, I don't know what kind of planes these are, but I know you guys probably do. I thought you would like them. You can see the pilot in the jet. Just a quick post. Zoom is grainy but it gives you a better view of the pilot. Thank you for looking. Have a great and wonderful night/day. Love and peace, Cheri

From left to right; P-38 fighter (WWII), P-51 Mustang fighter bomber (WWII) and what looks like an F-22 (today). Fantastic capture!

I'd say Mark has them all nailed perfectly, and that the others will concur!!! This is a great shot, and I forgot that you should even have this. You should also have others of the F-22, not sure how they look, by the time you even hear it ,...it's already passed. Great job Mark, I'm very proud of you!

Wonderful shot! Amazing you got all 3 planes in one shot. I really love the graininess, the soft wispiness of the clouds are very lovely.

I must say, you have an eye for this kind of thing. Okay, I like your stuff in general, especially your animal and granite shots, but I think that you do aeronautical photographs really well...this is the proof! There is a particular sharpness to this, and great detail. The graininess that it does have actually reminds me of the photographic quality I'd see in really good non-digital photography. This really works well!

Excellent fly-by! I'm familiar about the focus,grainy and weather problems with my own fly-by pics. Haven't seen a P-38 in a fly-by.

Great shot, my friend! Sorry I'm late... (pain etc blah blah... won't go on...) BUT! The Aircraft are from the left, a p-38 Lightning, P-51 Mustang and on the right, the new Raptor... I'm not sure makes that, General Dynamics I think? There we go, and thats a mighty fine line up.... the Raptor has on ever been to the UK once... So... ! No chance of me getting a shot... yet! Take care... Rob.

Wow, the prop planes must have had there petals to the metal to keep the f22 above it's stalling speed.
